WASHINGTON COUNTY ACTION NIGHT!
Tuesday April 5
6-8 pm
Kellogg-Hubbard Library Main St., Montpelier

Help protect Vermont Family Farmers from GMO liability! From 6-7 pm, attendees will receive a legislative update on the Farmer Protection Act and then an opportunity write letters to representatives and the editor
in support of the bill. From 7-8 pm we will discuss/brainstorm additional opportunities for Washington County residents to support the bill.

RUTLAND COUNTY COMMUNITY FOOD FORUM AND FESTIVAL
APRIL 9, 2005
12:30-3:30 PM
RUTLAND FREE LIBRARY

The event will feature fun and educational activities for children, as well as food, vendors, and a distinguished panel of experts in genetic science, environmental law, agriculture, religion, and commerce to discuss genetically modified foods and food choice. Additional event highlights include a magic show at 1 and 2 p.m., arts and crafts, music, raffle and silent auction. The forum and festival is sponsored by the Committee for the Study of Genetically Modified Foods and Food Choice. For more information, contact Martha Sirjane at 802.492.3377.
